About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Civil Plant Operator to join our Construction team at Borg Manufacturing.


As a Civil Plant Operator, you will be responsible for operating plant machinery to assist with property maintenance and construction of new facilities.


Key Responsibilities



  • Operate multiple earthmoving machines, including excavators, backhoes, and front-end loaders.
  • Install stormwater drainage and pits, sewerage, and service pipes.
  • Have laser levelling experience and be able to set up and use dumpy levels and set pipe lasers.
  • Experience in rock hammering, excavation, trenching, piering, bulk excavation, and levelling.
  • Possess the ability to work both in a team environment and independently, with high attention to detail.
  • Hold a Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card) and a current driving license.
  • Have a HC (Unrestricted) Licence (an advantage).
  • Be physically fit to undertake manual tasks.
