About this Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Professional to join our team. As a key member of the security team, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining firewall and network security services across multiple customer environments.

You will balance operational responsibilities with project delivery, supporting day-to-day business-as-usual (BAU) tickets as well as contributing to major transformations and migrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage, maintain, and improve firewall and network security services across customer environments.
  • Work on BAU activities including admin changes, fault investigation, firmware upgrades, and escalation support (L3).
  • Lead and contribute to firewall migrations, security transformations, and new project deployments.
  • Configure, implement, and support network and security devices including firewalls, switches, routers, and load balancers.
  • Ensure managed environments meet or exceed operational service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Provide input into the design, implementation, and continual improvement of secure technical solutions and services.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams, ensuring clear communication across technical and business stakeholders.
Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience as a Senior Network Engineer with a strong focus on firewall and security.
  • Must-have: Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto firewalls (configuration, troubleshooting, upgrades, migrations).
  • Additional experience with Fortinet firewalls highly desirable.
  • Broader background with Cisco routing, switching, and Meraki solutions.
  • IT qualifications in Networking and/or Security disciplines.
  • Experience providing L2/L3 support across network and security incidents.
  • Familiarity with automating routine IT processes.
  • A current driver's license for on-site travel and project rollouts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage confidently with customers and project stakeholders.
