Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Aluminium Fabricator to join our team in a busy and expanding workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable business that takes pride in producing high-quality aluminium products for residential and commercial projects.

The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of aluminium fabrication and assembly, from cutting and preparing materials to assembling and assisting with installations. You will play a key role in ensuring products are built to exact specifications and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Saw cutting aluminium, steel, and other materials as required
  • Layout, assemble, caulk, and handle aluminium curtainwalls, storefronts, windows, and doors
  • Measure, cut, and drill aluminium extrusions
  • Operate fabrication machinery and tools such as saws, drills, and metal-breaks
  • Inspect aluminium for quality and finish
  • Assist with loading/unloading stock and finished products
  • Deliver products to job sites when required
  • Support project management to ensure smooth workflow from tender to completion
  • Assist with on-site installation of windows, doors, storefronts, and glass when required
Workshop Management
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop and yard
  • Manage incoming/outgoing stock, inventory, and material storage
  • Track and report inventory levels
  • Help develop strategies to improve productivity and production output
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure smooth operations
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience in aluminium fabrication (essential)
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and measurements
  • Proficient with hand and power tools, as well as fabrication machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • A forklift licence is highly regarded
  • Current driver's licence
