About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Environment Artist to join our team at Supaglu Pty. As a key member of our art department, you will play a pivotal role in crafting immersive and engaging environments for our upcoming PC title.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environment Art Creation: Develop high-quality environment art, including greybox and populated scenes, using a modular workflow in UE5.
  • Level Ownership: Own and develop a whole level from greybox to final, adhering to the game's visual style and technical requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Art Director to define the visual direction and vision for the environments, ensuring alignment with the overall game design.
  • Communication: Produce composites and visual showcases to effectively communicate ideas and concepts to the team.
  • Asset Creation: Design and create high-quality environment art assets to enhance the game design and convey game state and events.
  • Technical Requirements: Ensure environment art meets memory and performance guidelines, working with the development team to implement and showcase assets in game.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with production to define scope and timelines for project milestones, developing and refining best practices and workflows to achieve production goals.
Requirements
  • UE5 Experience: Proficiency in UE5 is highly desirable.
  • Environment Art Skills: A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional environment art skills and a keen sense of aesthetics.
  • Modeling Experience: Experience with both organic and hard surface modeling.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of memory and performance limitations in relation to environment art.
  • Time Management: Effective time and workload management skills to meet project deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to deliver high-quality results.
