Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assessments and person-centred planning for NDIS participants and their support networks.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based Positive Behaviour Support plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Champion participants' goals, strengths, and passions, ensuring they receive personalised support.
  • Advocate for the elimination of restrictive practices and promote person-centred practice.
  • Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Build capacity in families, carers, and community supports to enhance overall outcomes.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience working within the NDIS framework and supporting individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviours.
  • Hold qualifications in Behaviour Support or possess extensive experience in the disability sector.
  • Demonstrate passion for supporting individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Commitment to person-centred practice and reducing restrictive interventions.
  • Strong report writing skills and ability to translate assessment findings into clear, actionable plans.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills to balance a dynamic caseload.
