We are seeking a seasoned Veterinary Director to lead our Emergency and Critical Care department.


About the Role

This clinical leadership position involves:

  • Providing expert care as a Veterinarian across varied shifts, focusing on work-life balance.
  • Establishing best practices for the ECC team to ensure seamless operations.
  • Communicating hospital vision and key updates to promote a positive environment, driving employee engagement.
  • Maintaining high financial performance to drive growth, exploring opportunities for revenue enhancement.
  • Collaborating with business leaders and other department heads to develop strategic initiatives.
  • Supporting staff through regular feedback, performance reviews, and talent development programs.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A veterinary degree eligible for NSW registration.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in 24/7 Emergency and Speciality Care hospitals, showcasing strong clinical skills.
  • Proven leadership ability, management training, and strategic thinking.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
