Role Overview

This dynamic Retail Consultant role is focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences by offering personalized interactions, identifying customer needs, and recommending relevant products. This individual will be responsible for achieving sales targets and ensuring high levels of customer service within a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ascertain customer needs and provide tailored recommendations to meet their requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively describe features and benefits.
  • Upsell and cross-sell opportunities, informing customers about sales promotions and new products.
  • Maintain consistently high standards of customer service.
  • Ensure store presentation aligns with visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Address customer concerns in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in retail sales, preferably within the home or lifestyle industry.
  • Ability to engage customers to bring their vision for their home to life.
  • A proactive attitude towards meeting sales targets and exceeding expectations.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in using computer systems.
  • Capacity to balance customer care and administrative duties.
  • Genuine interest in home styling, furniture, or creating welcoming living spaces (an asset).

Work Schedule
  • Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays - flexibility around other days and hours is required.
