We're committed to employing individuals who align with our values and meet the requirements of the role. As a Transformation Leader, you'll play a key part in delivering short, medium, and long-term improvements for our payroll transformation program.

Our Global Business Services (GBS) Strategic E2E Transformation team is responsible for delivering improvements across different aspects of workforce management, including data, controls, and governance, systems, and processes. Accurate, timely, and efficient management of workforce information and payroll is critical to our success.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Provide functional and/or technical advice to support delivery of program deliverables and outcomes.
  • Identify, analyse, and evaluate process and systems to ensure the future state design delivers compliance and efficiency outcomes.
  • Lead the HRIS workstream to ensure delivery aligned to the key objectives of that workstream.
  • Manage day-to-day work, ensuring deliverables and project resources are met.
  • Analyse data to draw out insights and solutions that address hypotheses and business challenges.
  • Persuade, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders to implement process and system improvements.
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with people globally, both within BHP and externally.
  • Translate business requirements, balancing asset-specific needs with a process simplification agenda across Workforce Management and HRIS.
  • Facilitate identification and mitigation of risks, and proactive/problem-solving to ensure deadlines are met.

About You

You'll need:

  • A strong understanding of HR tools and processes, including experience with HRIS (SuccessFactors) and/or Workforce Management (UKG Kronos or SAP Workforce) systems.
  • The ability to lead and manage others, utilizing diverse skills and experiences to achieve objectives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Experience in HR operations, large-scale payroll transformations, and/or HR systems and technology improvement projects.
  • The ability to think strategically, connect dots, and keep things simple where required.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
