
Accurate Document Analyst

As a Health Information Officer, your key responsibility is to ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of health records.
The following are some of the key tasks that you will be expected to perform:
- Provide accurate and timely scanning of health record documents in a digital system
- Maintain the confidentiality and security of all patient information and medical records
- Prepare health records for scanning and upload electronic documents into a digital system
- Perform quality activities on scanned documents and correct identified anomalies in the digital system
- Ensure that record tracking, filing and archive systems are maintained in both primary and secondary storage locations
- Daily process mail and file clinical and administrative forms and reports into the patient medical record
To succeed in this role, you will need to have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. You must also be able to work collaboratively in a team environment and prioritize tasks to achieve desired results.
