Job Title: Land Policy Director

The position of Land Policy Director involves leading a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of strategic advice, complex projects, evidence-based policy development, and reform assessments, data management, and spatial analysis and mapping services relating to land in Victoria.

This role requires building high trust relationships across government and working in consultation with multiple groups of stakeholders, including the Land Coordinator General, various Victorian Government departments and agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver key organisational outcomes.
  • Deliver complex programs which impact multiple areas of government.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline such as law, planning, or urban development.

Essential Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in land legislation and policy, land administration or comparable subject matter areas in the Victorian context.
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team to deliver key organisational outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex programs which impact multiple areas of government.

  • All new appointments will be subject to a National Criminal Records Check, Misconduct Screening, and a Qualification Check where required.
  • Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
