Job Role

About the Position

The role involves repairing blades in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain work performed on assigned rotor blades to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate actively in company safety management systems.

Work Management:

  • Perform maintenance on components, including but not limited to, repair of helicopter rotor blades to agreed timelines.
  • Ensure timely communication with supervisors regarding spares requirements.
  • Record work performed in detailed logs for assigned projects and ensure they are complete and reflect customer requirements.
  • Track daily hours and take corrective action as necessary to prevent over-runs.
  • Inform supervisors of any additional work requirements beyond original quotes.

Customer Engagement:

  • Provide regular progress updates to supervisors on planned maintenance activities.
  • Contribute to responses to customer queries and complaints.
  • Ensure maintenance performed on rotor blades is conducted in compliance with Civil Aviation regulations.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of sheet metal or composite repair procedures and materials.
  • Familiarity with Aviation regulatory requirements for Aircraft maintenance.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems and Microsoft Outlook or similar software.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
