Job Description

As a Blade Repair Technician, you will be accountable to complete tasks assigned by the Workshop Supervisor. Your primary responsibility is to perform maintenance on components, including the repair of helicopter rotor blades to agreed timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure work performed on assigned rotor blades is conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in company OH & S program and company safety management system.
Commercial Management

As a key member of our team, you will ensure that all work is completed efficiently and effectively, meeting project deadlines and customer requirements.

  • Perform routine maintenance checks on rotor blades to identify any potential issues.
  • Record work performed in work packs for assigned projects and ensure they are complete and reflect customer requirements.
Sales and Customer Management

Effective communication with customers and colleagues is crucial in this role. You will provide regular feedback to the Workshop Supervisor on progress of planned maintenance and contribute to the development of sales strategies to meet customer needs.

  • Provide input into response to customer queries and complaints.
  • Assist in the development of sales materials and presentations.
Minimum Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of sheet metal or composite repair procedures and Materials.
  • Understanding of Aviation regulatory requirements for Aircraft maintenance.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer literacy in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems and Microsoft Outlook.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work well within a team environment.
