About the Opportunity

Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Scientific Researcher to join our team at Greenslopes Private Hospital and Wesley Hospital laboratories.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing medical laboratory tests to provide advice for the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and other disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing a range of diagnostic medical laboratory techniques;
  • Performing all tasks relevant to a particular scientific shift or a particular section of the laboratory as specified in departmental manuals;
  • Upholding quality standards within the laboratory by adhering to departmental quality system procedures;
  • Complying with the occupational health and safety policy and programs to ensure personal health and safety, and the health and safety of others in the workplace;
  • Satisfying the requirements of customers both internal and external through the provision of reliable and efficient service levels.

About You

To be considered for this position, you will be degree-qualified in Medical Laboratory Science or a similar degree which included blood bank and haematology related subjects.

The ideal candidate will have well-developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work as an effective team member, as well as excellent organisational skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritise your workload and work accurately and efficiently.
