Senior Associate - Employment Tax

As a Senior Associate in our Employment Tax team, you will play a key role in providing expert advice to clients on employment tax matters. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult and advise on FBT, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, ESS, PAYG and employee versus contractor matters
  • Provide international assignment consulting and compliance services
  • Prepare FBT returns using specialist software
  • Review and develop FBT policies and procedures for employers
  • Prepare and review payroll tax returns
  • Undertake compliance reviews and 'Health Checks' for employers' employment tax obligations
  • Design and implement share plans for C-suite and all other levels
  • Work collaboratively with data and technology experts to help design automated tools
  • Coach and mentor junior team members

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar or complimentary role
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work independently
  • Strong research and legal interpretation skills
  • Proactive approach to client relationships and cross selling of services
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Degree qualification, majoring in Accounting, Tax, Commerce, Economics, Finance or Law
