Employment Tax Specialist

Our organisation is seeking a highly skilled Employment Tax Specialist to lead our team in providing expert employment tax advice and compliance support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Inspire: Guide junior staff across Australia while managing large, multi-stakeholder projects and serving as the key client contact.
  • Deliver Employment Tax Expertise: Advise clients on all aspects of employment tax, including Payroll Tax, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation Guarantee, FBT, Termination Payments, and Salary Packaging.
  • Drive Innovation and Engagement: Use technology and big data to support compliance and generate insights, liaise with clients and regulatory bodies, and deliver impactful training seminars to both clients and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive employment tax experience, advanced technical and analytical skills, and a flexible work style.

Requirements:
  • Extensive Employment Tax Experience: Over 5 years of delivering employment tax compliance and consulting services to large multinational organisations, with a strong commitment to excellence in client service.
  • Technical and Analytical Proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, alongside proven data analytics capabilities and confidence in handling complex datasets.
  • Effective and Flexible Work Style: Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple tasks, work independently and collaboratively, and experience with automating tax processes (desirable but not essential).

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement based in Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, or Sydney, with opportunities for flexible hours and professional development.
