Eye Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as an Optical Dispenser. This is a casual position based in Strathpine QLD 4500.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading optometry company that prioritizes exceptional patient care and provides affordable, unique, and fashionable eyewear to customers.
Key responsibilities of the job include:
- Providing eye care and eyewear styling advice to patients and prospective clients.
- Dispensing lenses and frames per prescriptions provided by Optometrists.
- Building meaningful relationships with clients to ensure their continued loyalty.
- Assisting with opening and closing procedures.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of one year's experience in optical or two years in retail sales.
- Previous experience with store opening/closing duties.
- Strong attention to detail and basic mathematical skills.
- Confident, clear, and effective communication skills.
- The ability to build trusting and respectful relationships.
- A self-motivated, positive, and friendly attitude.
Possession of an Optical Dispensing Certificate IV is highly desirable but not essential.
