About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning and Project Controls Manager to join our team at Laing O'Rourke. As a key member of our project leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic analysis and oversight to the Planning function, ensuring compliance with business systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the Planning and Project Controls team
  • Develop and maintain fully integrated programs, ensuring construction methodology is incorporated
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure project reports are accurate and up-to-date
  • Monitor labour and plant productivity, and develop detailed hour-by-hour shutdown programs using Primavera P6
  • Ensure Planning and Project Control processes and best practices are implemented in the project

About You

  • You will have extensive experience in a similar role, backed by a relevant engineering degree
  • High attention to detail and strong communication skills
  • Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office experience is a must, with PRISM G2, Navisworks, and Power BI experience highly regarded
