About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Farm Worker to join our team. As a Farm Worker, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and productivity of our mango trees and other crops.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cultivation and Harvesting: Assist in preparing soil for planting and transplanting mango trees, monitor and control weeds, pests, and diseases, and participate in irrigation and watering activities to ensure optimal plant health.
  • Maintenance and Operations: Perform routine maintenance of farm equipment and tools, harvest mangoes and other crops according to specified standards for ripeness and quality, and handle harvested produce with care to prevent damage and maintain freshness.
  • Record Keeping and Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of planting, harvesting, and maintenance activities, assist in tracking inventory levels, and report any discrepancies.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work closely with other farm workers and supervisors to achieve daily and seasonal goals, provide support during peak periods and special projects as needed, and adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in farming or agricultural work.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
  • Basic knowledge of plant care, irrigation, and pest management is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and a cooperative attitude.
