Student Support Services Specialist

This role involves working with a diverse range of children and young people to provide assessment, consultation, support, and program advice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing formal and informal assessments and interventions, collaborating with local service providers, and developing communication skills for report-writing, networking, and interpersonal relationships.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Providing assessment and intervention services to students
  • Collaborating with educational staff and community partners to develop and implement strategies to improve teaching, learning, and wellbeing
  • Developing and maintaining effective communication skills for report-writing, networking, and interpersonal relationships

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess a graduate or post-graduate qualification in psychology or related field, registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA, or equivalent qualifications in occupational therapy, social work, or Applied Behaviour Analysis.
