- We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our team at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria, BC.">
- The successful candidate will be responsible for providing anesthetic services to patients undergoing cardiac surgery and other related procedures.">
Responsibilities:
- ">
- Perform preoperative assessments of cardiac surgery patients">
- Anesthetize patients undergoing cardiac surgery and other related procedures">
- Care for postoperative cardiac surgery patients in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVU)">
- Provide peri-operative TEE service to all cardiac cases, CVU patients as needed, and occasional out-of-OR patients">
- Participate in teaching and education programs for residents and medical students">
Requirements:

- Degree in Medicine from a recognized institution">
- Licensure with College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC">
- PALS and ACLS certifications">
- Fellowship in Cardiac Anesthesia or equivalent">
- NBE Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography certification or equivalent">
