Role Overview

This position offers a dynamic and challenging opportunity to work in the operational pharmacy department of a leading healthcare provider.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

  • This role requires the implementation of hospital policies and guidelines to ensure appropriate drug utilization.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to participate in research projects, present at conferences, and assist team members in delivering an operational pharmacy service.
  • A high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills are essential for this role.

About the Workplace

The workplace is one of the largest and most comprehensive regional health services in Australia, providing care at all stages of life and circumstance. Responsibilities Include
  • To implement and maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and clinical practice guidelines.
  • To provide accurate and timely information to medical and nursing staff regarding medication usage and management.
  • To participate in quality improvement activities and contribute to the development of pharmacy policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
