Job Description:The role of a Culinary Ambassador revolves around delivering exceptional service to guests in the Club Lounge. This encompasses monitoring seating availability, maintaining cleanliness and condition of the bar and surrounding areas, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring guest safety and wellbeing.
This includes greeting guests warmly, engaging them in conversation, processing check-ins and check-outs, and coordinating with Housekeeping to track room readiness. Additionally, the Culinary Ambassador will operate the telephone switchboard station, answer guest calls, and supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities and services.
A key aspect of this role is possessing a passion for customer service, experience working in a customer-facing position, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will hold the required skills and certifications, including Responsible Service of Alcohol from a nationally accredited training provider and I'm Alert Food Safety Certification.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor club lounge for seating availability, service, safety, and wellbeing of guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.
- Prepare and serve hot, cold, and/or alcoholic beverages. Stock ice, glassware, and supplies.
- Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, and issuing and activating room keys.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
- Process all check-outs including express check-outs, resolving any late and disputed charges, settling account, retrieving room key, and requesting comments on guest's stay.
- Operate telephone switchboard station in order to answer telephone calls and monitor busy or unanswered lines.
