Assistant Retail Store Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate retail professional to join our team as an Assistant Retail Store Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our store.

  • Manage daily store operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Support the store manager in achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales assistants, providing coaching and training to help them grow and develop in their roles.

This is a part-time role requiring availability for weekends, late-night trading hours, and public holidays.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have experience in retail management, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction. They will be passionate about leading by example, supporting their team, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.

A Day in the Life:

  • Help the store manager achieve sales and KPIs while keeping the vibe fun and customer-focused.
  • Support your team with training and feedback to help them grow and develop.
  • Manage inventory, keep the store looking fabulous, and assist with visual merchandising.
  • Work with the store manager to create a positive and safe working environment.
  • Assist with roster management to ensure the store is always staffed to meet demand.

  • Proven ability to support sales goals and coach your team to success.
  • Visual merchandising experience is a bonus.
