Job Title: Data Centre Experts

We are seeking skilled and experienced professionals to support our client's Data Centre and Storage Services section.

  • This role involves supporting the management and operation of data centres and associated hardware.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to work within a structured IT governance framework and possess excellent organisational skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the management and operation of data centres and associated hardware
  • Assisting in the management of infrastructure service delivery functions
  • Liaising with external and internal service providers
  • Monitoring and supporting data centre technologies on a day-to-day basis
  • Implementing major and minor project work to support departmental initiatives
Requirements
  • 1-2 years managing industry-accepted hardware and software products
  • Specialised knowledge of storage, network devices, UPS, cabling, power and cooling
  • Documenting solutions comprised of data, storage and voice networking, security products, devices and procedures
  • Hardware installation and drafting or reviewing procedural documentation
  • Understanding security procedures, network linkages and relevant configurations
  • Supporting business systems, business continuity and change processes
  • Ability to work collaboratively, efficiently, proactively and responsively

Australian citizenship is required for this role, and a Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance is also essential. The successful candidate will be based in Canberra, Sydney or Brisbane offices and may be required to travel interstate as needed.
