
Payroll Specialist

The Payroll Specialist is a vital position within an organization, accountable for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employee payments.
- Process payroll for 3,000 employees and workers compensation claims on a weekly and fortnightly basis.
- Complete the end-to-end payroll process and terminations, escalating any issues to maintain system integrity.
- Utilize time and attendance payroll modules to perform ad-hoc tasks and other duties as directed.
In this varied role, you will collaborate with the team to achieve timely and accurate payment runs, while also providing support to the Finance Manager on various projects as needed. You will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain successful relationships.
Essential Skills and Qualifications- Minimum 2 years' experience in a payroll role, accounting or payroll qualification, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Demonstrated knowledge of industry Enterprise Agreements, awards, and National Employment Standards.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office products, especially Excel.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain successful relationships.
