Outside School Hours Care Service Assistant


Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Outside School Hours Care Service Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in delivering daily quality activities for children that are safe, fun, stimulating, and carry educational value.
  • Supervise and support children during after-school care and holiday periods.
  • Prepare and serve healthy food options for the children.
  • Build meaningful relationships with colleagues, children, families, and the school community.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a warm and engaging personality, and a strong focus on child safety and welfare.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate III or higher in Children's Services, Early Childhood, or School Aged Care (or studying towards).
  • Working with Children Check (willing to obtain).
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training (or willing to obtain).
  • Child Protection Training Certificate (RRHAN-EC) (or willing to obtain).
