The Sales and Guest Experience Coordinator reports directly to the Venue Manager, leading a team to deliver outstanding guest experiences for current and prospective guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and develop frontline staff to meet sales targets and provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Meet new member and growth targets daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Provide exceptional in-person and over-the-phone guest experiences for existing and prospective members and guests.
  • Offer relevant and accurate information and an excellent experience to prospective members by handling enquiries in line with company processes and systems.
  • Assist in lead generation through digital and traditional marketing activities.
  • Conduct tours of the centre/facility as necessary to convert prospective members/guests to ongoing members.
  • Attend and participate in centre senior leadership meetings and projects.
Requirements
  • Experience in a sales and customer-facing environment.
  • Leadership experience in the health, fitness, leisure, or recreation industries is highly regarded.
  • A solid understanding of business needs and processes regarding KPIs, budgets, and service standards.
  • Experience motivating teams to reach targets.
  • A people person with exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms.
  • Flexible to work days/evenings and weekends.
  • National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
  • First aid and CPR certification.
  • Team leadership, training, and development experience.
About the Centre

The Centre has a great reputation for its facilities and customer service within the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It offers various programs and facilities suitable for all ages, including swimming classes, 24/7 gym membership, group fitness classes, cafe, merchandise, childcare, function rooms, four indoor heated pools, a spa, and two outdoor seasonal pools.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum
