
Incident Analysis Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to lead an exciting new project focused on improving the health system's response to patient incidents. The successful candidate will have a growing track record as a researcher and excellent project management skills.
The project aims to develop evidence-based methods for incident analysis and response, with a focus on reducing the frequency of incidents causing harm to patients. This will involve working closely with healthcare policy makers, hospital executives, clinicians, and consumers to ensure that project aims are met.
About You
You will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the research team and project deliverables in collaboration with the Chief Investigator. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
About the Project
The project is funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Partnership Grant and will be carried out onsite at Macquarie University and across four jurisdictions. You will have access to world-leading clinical resources and research facilities found only on our campus.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of researchers to achieve project goals and objectives
* Coordinate project deliverables and timelines
* Develop and implement evidence-based methods for incident analysis and response
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project aims are met
Benefits
* Salary Package: Level B, from $110,274 to $130,472 p.a., plus 17% employer's superannuation and annual leave loading
* Appointment type: Full-time, fixed-term position for 2 years
