We are seeking a Graduate Registered Nurse to join our team at a state-of-the-art Aged Care residence in Singleton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the health and wellbeing of our residents while offering them dignity, safety and independence.
A supportive environment with dedicated and experienced clinical teams on-site will be provided to guide and support you along the way.
Our graduate nurse program is designed to develop and support you in your first year as a graduate nurse, covering a range of comprehensive clinical and development orientation models.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this role, ideally we are looking for:
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
- Less than 12 months of post-registration clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
- An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements as a Registered Nurse
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team of like-minded care professionals
- An understanding of assessments and developing care plans
- Ability to learn to effectively communicate complex care plan needs to incoming residents and their representatives.
- An understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Demonstrated organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrated well-developed computer and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
- Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
