The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.

Job Description

As an Expert Technology Risk Advisor at BDO, you will work closely with our leadership and wider team to provide advisory, technology risk remediation, and assurance services to clients. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering a variety of tech risk & assurance and business improvement / transformation projects
  • Recommending technical & non-technical improvements to client systems, processes, and controls
  • Preparing proposals in response to client requests (including budgeting to assignment costs)
  • Working with the team to undertake scheduling of work across the practice
  • Supervising fieldwork and contributing to the development of junior staff in a mentoring capacity

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrable experience in Tech Audit or Tech-related risk & assurance gained within the professional services environment. You should possess strong analytical and investigative skills, as well as a keen eye for detail. The following qualifications are also beneficial:

  • Technology and Accounting or business-related degree
  • In the process of, (or willing to) obtain certifications or qualifications relevant to the role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team environment
