System Maintenance Specialist

Elevate your Industrial Electrical skills in a dynamic environment that prioritizes safety above all else.



Job Description

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on both electrical and mechanical systems. Tackle electrical and mechanical fault finding on equipment like storage and retrieval cranes, conveyor belts, robotic arms, and AGV forklifts. Ensure maximum system availability for customers from general flow control tasks to working with onsite automation specialists.



Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough diagnostic analysis to identify the root cause of system failures.


  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective maintenance strategies.


  • Develop and maintain documentation to ensure accurate recording of maintenance activities.


  • Implement process improvements to increase equipment reliability.


  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.




Requirements

  • Electrical (A-Grade) qualification.


  • Mechanical aptitude.


  • Industrial controls understanding (PLC's, VFD's, HMI's).


  • Microsoft Office proficiency and experience with computers.


  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.


  • Physically fit.


  • Comfortable with working at heights.


  • Highly motivated with a keen interest to further own ability and studies.


  • Honest, reliable, and proactive with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility.


  • Team player with a passion for safety culture.


  • Australian citizenship.
