Procurement Professional Wanted

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support the growth of our business.

This role is ideal for someone looking to apply their experience in a fast-paced environment with broad, independent ownership over procurement and supplier relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and select materials based on technical requirements from engineering.
  • Manage global supply chains, source parts from new overseas suppliers, and develop partnerships with contract manufacturers.
  • Use sales projections to ensure that materials are purchased at the right time and at the right price.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers.
  • Issue purchase orders and track deliveries.
  • Negotiate supplier agreements, pricing, and terms.
  • Maintain second sources in response to anticipated supply chain risks.
  • Monitor vendor performance and quality and proactively address concerns.
  • Balance the management of inventory carrying costs with the management of supply chain risk.
  • Assist R&D with procurement of materials for new product offerings.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain.
  • Strong skills in vendor communication and relationship management.
  • Ability to negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times.
  • Strong organization skills to manage procurement for products with extensive and complex bills of materials, based on dynamic sales projections.
  • Strong ability to independently own projects and deliver results.
