We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to lead the delivery of building services projects within the local Construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Engineering: Responsible for designing and managing electrical systems for various building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Design Management: Oversee the design process for electrical systems, guaranteeing quality, safety, and efficiency.
- Project Management: Lead project teams to deliver electrical services on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards, fostering collaboration and open communication among team members.
- Relevant tertiary degree qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5-8+ years' experience as an Electrical Engineer/Designer in Building Services Consulting, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Strong technical understanding and knowledge of electrical issues in a building environment, including planning, installation, and maintenance.
- Leadership skills, able to lead small teams of engineers/drafters, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to articulate complex ideas and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
- Proficient in software such as AutoCAD, with expertise in drafting and modeling electrical systems.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills, with a customer-centric approach to project delivery.
