Communications Strategist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to manage the day-to-day operations of a strategy that promotes corporate, community, civic, cultural, events, tourism, and business activities.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with a demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

A self-starter who excels both independently and in a collaborative team setting, maintaining a professional and enthusiastic attitude.

• Tertiary qualifications in Communications or related field.
• Experience with dealing with the media.
• Experience in editorial support tasks such as proofing of advertising, reports, graphic design, and presentations.

This role is responsible for managing general public relations, communication, and media relations between Council and the community.
