About the RoleWe are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic casual academics to join our team in the School of Economics. As a casual academic, you will have the opportunity to work with students from diverse backgrounds and contribute to their educational experience.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality tutorials that engage students and promote learning outcomes.
- Tutor students in face-to-face delivery mode, providing individualized support and feedback.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement.
- Participate in curriculum development and review processes to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate of $53.21 per hour, plus superannuation benefits. You will also have the opportunity to develop your teaching skills and gain valuable experience in a leading university environment.
