Linfox Intermodal, a leading logistics company based in Acacia Ridge QLD, is seeking an experienced Cross Dock Supervisor to join their team.

This role offers a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring safety, service, performance, and cost to ensure key customer KPIs are met within the Cross Dock Operation. Key areas of responsibility include:

  • Ensuring adherence to safety standards and COR requirements at all times;
  • Providing clear instructions to Cross Dock teams regarding loading, transportation, and delivery of goods;
  • Coordinating timely and accurate communication for supply chain requirements between subcontractor, customer, and Linfox operations;
  • Assisting with various operational functions, including allocating, cross dock/subcontractor management, and customer service;
  • Developing and maintaining relevant processes and procedures; and
  • Reporting operational and commercial metrics.

Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a high level of attention to detail, effective time management skills, and strong communication abilities. Previous experience in interstate transport operations or a combination of road transport and related industry knowledge is essential. Additional requirements include:

  • A solid understanding of Chain of Responsibility and Heavy Vehicle regulations & Load Restraint;
  • Ability to engage and maintain solid customer relationships through regular communication;
  • Effective multitasking and prioritization skills in a dynamic environment;
  • An organized and systematic approach to work.
