This role is part of our fabrication and welding activities, supporting the workshop and fleet team.
The position involves practical skills in metal component fabrication and assembly using tools and machinery in a hands-on workshop environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Gaining experience with welding, cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
- Completing a Certificate III in Engineering, Fabrication course at TAFE.
We cover both theoretical and practical aspects of on-the-job and off-the-job training, including formal qualifications and four years of work experience upon completion.
Program DetailsTemporary full-time position for up to 4 years, or duration of the apprenticeship.
38 hours per week with access to a 9 Day Fortnight schedule.
We provide on-the-job training, pay course costs, approved leave to attend TAFE, and a tool allowance.
