Job Title: Electronic Equipment Trades Worker

We are seeking a skilled and experienced electronic equipment trades worker to join our team. As an electronic equipment trades worker, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of a wide range of electronic devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain mobile phones, computers, and other electronic devices.
  • Diagnose faults and troubleshoot problems using advanced diagnostic tools.
  • Perform micro soldering and data recovery operations on electronic devices.
  • Provide expert advice and support to customers on software and hardware issues.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and manage retail sales of mobile phone accessories.
  • Develop and implement software and hardware solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Repair or replace damaged or defective electronic components and maintain equipment and devices.
  • Keep accurate records of work orders using in-house software.
  • Execute computer network setups and manage stock/inventory.

Requirements:

  • A qualification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with a variety of electronic components, tools, and testing equipment.
  • Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Skilled in micro soldering and using diagnostic tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and a focus on providing the best customer service.
  • Experience in retail sales and inventory management is a plus.
