Delivering Quality Mental Health Services

We are seeking highly skilled and compassionate mental health professionals to join our team in Mackay. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality client-centred mental health assessments, treatments, and case coordination services in an integrated stepped care model.

You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide high-quality mental health assessments, treatments, and case coordination services to clients in an integrated stepped care model.
  • To work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
  • To provide ongoing support and guidance to clients and their families throughout the treatment process.
  • To participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans and service delivery strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Registration as a Psychologist, Accredited Mental Health Nurse, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field (e.g. Master's degree in Psychology).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of mental health theories and practices.
