Culinary Expert

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at WHSmith Australia. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to meet the high standards of our customers.

• Prepare and cook a range of menu items, including breakfast and lunch options.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and high-quality food.
• Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to WHS and HACCP standards.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
• Participate in menu planning and development to ensure a diverse and appealing range of options.

• At least 2 years' experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a fast-paced café or restaurant setting.
• Food preparation and presentation skills, with a focus on quality and presentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
• Food Safety Supervisor certification (desirable).
