About This Role

This leadership position will oversee a team within the Orange Door, providing coordination and support to practitioners.

The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team to develop and implement high-quality services for families in need.

  • Establish relationships with partner organisations and agencies.
  • Provide leadership and coordination to deliver effective services.
  • Mentor and support team members.

About The Service

The Orange Door brings together various workforces to deliver an integrated practice model and a consolidated intake point for:

  • Families experiencing or having experienced family violence
  • People who use violence
  • Families requiring support with the care and wellbeing of unborn babies, infants, children, and young people

Your Skills and Experience

  • A minimum qualification for this role is a Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualification OR have a minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience OR hold significant cultural knowledge and experience or lived experience
  • Significant management experience within child, youth and family welfare sector
  • A sound understanding of family and parenting issues
  • Commitment to, and understanding of working with marginalised groups including Indigenous and CALD clients
  • A valid and current Driver's Licence
