Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a High-Performance Trading Solutions Developer.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in low-latency trading systems, the FIX protocol, and Java development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Gathering requirements, coordinating with internal teams, developing solutions, and implementing them to support the business.
  • Taking ownership of the end-to-end delivery process and shaping the platform's architecture.
  • Driving simplification initiatives to ensure the platform remains robust and future-ready.

You will also be responsible for optimising and reducing latency to maintain the platform's competitive edge in the market.

Additionally, you will provide second-level production support to ensure high availability and reliability of our trading systems.

Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of experience in low-level Java development with a focus on tuning for low-latency trading systems.
  • Strong knowledge of the FIX protocol and its application in trading environments.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with automated testing, including building testing harnesses, ensuring robust and reliable systems.
  • Familiarity with performance testing and market data handling to optimise system efficiency and reliability.
