Logistics Support Specialist

You will conduct thorough logistics supportability analyses, contribute to design processes, and develop support plans to ensure optimized system performance, reliability, and maintainability throughout the full product life cycle.

  • Lead the development of ILS functions and guide business growth.
  • Conduct detailed Logistics Supportability Analysis using various techniques.
  • Contribute to systems engineering processes and product development by providing input on logistics-related requirements.
  • Develop comprehensive Support Plans and related ILS documentation for defence projects.
  • Lead project teams in the development of ILSP-S and functions.

To be considered for this role, you must have a strong traceable history in:

  • Strong knowledge of logistics supportability analysis techniques.
  • A high level of experience in ILS management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Defence acquisition policy and processes.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering principles is advantageous.
  • Understanding of full life cycle management.
  • Experience in a defence SPO.
  • Excellent communication skills written and oral.
  • Experience in Defence acquisition projects.
  • Candidates MUST hold a current AGSVA issued Security Clearance.

This unique role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge capability with some of Defence Industry's best technologists. Ideally, candidates will possess a high level of experience in Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM), Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analysis.

The salary range for this role is approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
