Senior AI Legal Specialist

As a Senior AI Legal Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating with internal and external teams to support product programs and initiatives related to artificial intelligence and legal technology solutions.
You will assist in the testing and validation of generative artificial intelligence technology for legal industry applications designed for legal practitioners in Australia.
Contribute to understanding our customers' pain points and goals to help articulate value propositions.
Support the development of advanced use cases for lawyers utilizing the CoCounsel platform.
Provide feedback on CoCounsel's ongoing performance to our team of engineers and data scientists.
Assist senior team members in client engagements, supporting Enterprise clients.
Provide support to other teams on select projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement AI-powered legal solutions.
- Assist in the design and testing of AI-driven workflows and tools.
- Analyze customer feedback and usage patterns to inform product development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
You will also need to have a passion for AI and legal technology, as well as experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Requirements:
- Law degree and license to practice law in Australia required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years litigation practice experience.
- Computer proficient with strong understanding in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using online legal research and practice tools.
