Lodge Guest Services Assistant Job Description

The Lodge Guest Services Assistant is a critical role in creating a positive and memorable guest experience at our resort. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds.

  • Welcoming guests upon arrival and providing exceptional customer service throughout their stay.">
  • Handling all guest requests and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency.">
  • Creating and modifying guest reservations to ensure seamless experiences.">
  • Providing helpful information on all aspects of the resort and its amenities.">
  • Promoting resort products and experiences to enhance guest satisfaction.">
  • Daily liaison with inter-departments such as food & beverage, housekeeping, Information desk, Admission and Security to ensure smooth operations.">
  • Assisting in retail shop sales to increase revenue.">
  • Reporting maintenance and safety issues promptly to maintain a safe environment.">
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and procedures, including WHS protocols.">

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Criteria:

">

A friendly, customer-focused attitude with a drive to provide total guest satisfaction.

">

Excellent communication skills and a high standard of grooming and presentation.

">

Proven experience working within a small team or autonomously, with the ability to work unsupervised.

">

Strong attention to detail and the ability to interact effectively with all guests.

">

The availability to work on a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends and Public Holidays, with morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

">

Current First Aid qualification.

">

Hold current Driver's Licence.

">

Proof of Coronavirus Vaccination, unless otherwise exempt.

">

Preferred Criteria:

">

Experience in a 4 or 5-star hotel establishment.

">

Experience in Opera PMS, or similar room management software.

">

LR licence and Drivers Authority or the ability to obtain these credentials.

">

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.

">

Educational history and qualifications.

">

References and any additional certifications or achievements.
