About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Secondary Teacher - Mathematics to join our dynamic team. As a Mathematics teaching role, this position will see you educating years 7-12, ideally with the ability to teach QCAA Mathematical Methods and Specialist Mathematics subjects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students in years 7-12.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support student growth and achievement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.
  • Participate in professional learning programs to stay up-to-date with contemporary pedagogy and curriculum developments.
Requirements
  • Appropriate tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
  • Current driver's licence.
  • Ability to travel from time to time within the Catholic Diocese of Townsville.
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role in a safe manner.
