Job Description\

The Executive Director, Technical Services is a senior leadership position that plays a pivotal role in delivering complex mining and petroleum projects. This individual will be responsible for leading a multi-disciplinary team to achieve strategic objectives and drive positive outcomes for the organization.

Key responsibilities include providing tactical and strategic advice to stakeholders on sensitive issues, collaborating across the public sector and industry to drive results, and managing abandoned mine remediation and recommercialisation programs.

  • Strong project management experience in a resource sector or state-owned asset environment.

  • Understanding of economic feasibility of resource sector or state-owned asset operations.
\
  • Experience navigating complex commercial, probity, governance, and legal frameworks.
\
  • Experience leading remote technical experts to deliver broad works/programs and capital expenditure.
