This role provides operational support for Citrix VDI server farms, virtual desktops, and Microsoft RDS. Key responsibilities include system monitoring, issue resolution, maintaining SOE images, disaster recovery participation, security compliance, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:- Support Citrix VDI server farms, virtual desktops, and RDS deployments daily.
- Monitor system health, address performance issues, resolve incidents within SLAs.
- Maintain and update SOE images, including upgrades and patching.
- Participate in Disaster Recovery drills and ensure infrastructure readiness.
- Ensure security policy compliance, manage GPOs, and configuration standards.
- Maintain documentation and runbooks.
- Escalate application or user profile issues as needed.
- 2+ years supporting Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops in enterprise or government environments.
- Experience with Microsoft RDS and session host infrastructure.
- Proficiency in managing Windows SOE images.
- Familiarity with Citrix Studio, Director, StoreFront.
- Knowledge of patching, user access control, image lifecycle.
- Experience in secure, structured environments with change and incident processes.
Successful candidates will possess a strong understanding of Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Microsoft RDS, and Windows SOE imaging. They will also have experience with system monitoring, incident management, and security best practices.
