About the Role

Care Connect is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to provide in-home care to our Out of Hospital Care and Aged Care clients in Northern Beaches and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care and Hygiene Assistance: Provide support with personal grooming and hygiene, including medication reminders, to ensure our clients maintain their independence and dignity.
  • Domestic Support: Assist with domestic duties, such as cleaning and laundry, to create a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Food and Nutrition Support: Help with food shopping, menu planning, and meal preparation to ensure our clients receive nutritious meals.
  • Mobility Assistance: Provide support with mobility within the home and local community to enable our clients to maintain their independence.
  • Client Well-being: Prioritize client well-being and demonstrate a strong care factor to ensure our clients receive the highest level of care.
Requirements
  • Right to Work in Australia: Ensure you have the necessary documentation to work in Australia.
  • Driver's Licence and Vehicle: Possess a valid driver's licence and own a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
  • Police Check and Working with Children Check: Hold a current police check and working with children check.
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate: Possess a current first aid and CPR certificate.
  • COVID-19 Vaccinations: Have received a minimum of 3 COVID-19 vaccinations.
  • Qualifications and Experience: Hold a Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or Home and Community Care, or a Bachelor's or Diploma in Nursing, and have a minimum of 3 months of paid experience working in the aged care or community care sector.
  • Attitude and Commitment: Demonstrate a fantastic attitude and genuine interest in helping others.
