Store Assistant

We are seeking a motivated warehouse worker to join our team in Northgate. This is a temporary-to-permanent part-time position with the primary responsibility of assisting with order preparation and shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, organized work area
- Pack, count, and report incoming stock shortages
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments
- Securely stack containers on pallets using stretch wrap, shrink wrap, and straps
- Perform general warehouse tasks
- Load and unload trucks
- Unpack carton and pallet deliveries
- Prepare pallets for delivery to sites/customers
- Engage in heavy lifting (up to 25kg)
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a similar role (desired)
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups
- Knowledge of tools required for this position
- Physical agility and dexterity
- Strong organizational skills
- Operational forklift license and experience
- Proficiency in computer applications
Key Responsibilities:

- Efficiently manage and track inventory, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Develop strong relationships with colleagues and customers through effective communication
